This painting reflects my love of nature, colour and pattern. The title refers to the location and date of the photo inspiration for the piece.

Over the last few years my work has begun to draw on a deeper appreciation of nature and my own personal connection with the natural world.

I combine observational paintings with decorative details. Many of the patterns and colour combinations are inspired by designs found in patchwork, textiles and embroidery.
